# Jimi Filipovski

> Design Engineer

I’m a designer who builds. I run [Shirakaba Studio](https://shirakaba.studio), and I’m building [Bonsai Kit](https://bonsaikit.dev) for designers who build. I’m interested in a role where I can put these skills to use, shaping interfaces and shipping production code myself.

I’ve worked alongside AI since 2015, when I joined [Waymark](https://waymark.com) as its first designer. Since then I’ve led design experiences for MongoDB, McDonald’s and Carhartt. Now I’m working with Slate Auto to ship their mobile app and in-vehicle experience.
